Oh, springtime! It's warm enough to read on the front porch!

It's getting warmer! And, there's lots to experience outdoors as nature wakes up! We've got the books for you: Gardening, hiking, what-kind-of insect-is-that, great trips to take during springtime. It's also Poetry Month and we have an incredible display of poetry titles that will inspire you!

Join us this month for the Dog and Pony Show--we had a great Reception two weeks with some of the cutest dogs-for-adoption by Coco's Cupboard and as always, the greatest group of horse and dog lovers in attendance. Stop by this month and enjoy the photographs and vote for your favorite! We'll feature the top three on next month's newsletter!

We're also looking forward to welcoming authors to the store who will be part of the Local Author's Showcase--check out their books and chat with them about their journey from "this would be a great idea for a book" to actually having the book in hand.

Stop by, pick up some books for your spring vacation, tell us what you're reading and, join one of our book groups to talk books and discover great titles that you didn't know you would love!

The 2026 Dog and Pony Show!

Stop by and enjoy the photographs of dogs and horses of all shapes and sizes. The photographs just speak to you! And, the quotes under each image inspire memories, contemplation, and smiles. Many of the framed photos are for sale and several also have prints available. Pick out your favorite image and add your entry into the People's Choice contest.

TUESDAY, April 7th: THE SPIRITUALITY GROUP meets at 1:00 p.m. at the store. We're discussing Entering the Castle by Caroline Myss. Join Us!

THURSDAY, April 2nd: THE DROP-IN GUILT-FREE BOOK GROUP will meet on Thursday, April 2nd at the store at 7:00 p.m.! We're discussing "A Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole. Join us!

FRIDAY, APRIL 3rd: The WRITER'S GROUP meets at 6.

MONDAY, APRIL 16th: THE ROMANTESY SOCIETY meets at 7!

LIVING ROOM CONVERSATIONS will meet at 3 on Sunday, April 19th. Lots happenin'! We'll meet to discuss the latest recent Supreme Court decisions!

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15th at High Noon: THE BROWN BAG BOOK GROUP discusses Horse by Geraldine Brooks. And, then get ready for the Kentucky Derby coming the first Saturday in May!

SATURDAY, APRIL 25th 5-7 pm: Join self-published writers at the Local Author Showcase and get inspired!

SUNDAY, APRIL 26th: THE CLASSICS GROUP meets at 4 pm to discuss
