Join Us in Celebrating May! And, Moms!

Greetings, all! And here comes May with sunny, warm temps, blooming trees and flowers, and a host of great things happening at A Novel Experience! If you need a respite from the pollen join us at one of our inspiring, fun, social, book and discussion clubs! From the Spirituality Book Club to the Drop-In, Guilt-Free Book Club to Living Room Conversations we convene monthly for great conversation about books and current happenings--you might encounter titles and ideas that inspire, challenge, and, maybe, invoke memories and happiness.

This month we celebrate moms--and remember how many of our moms introduced us to the joy of reading! May is also when we celebrate Memorial Day on the 25th and Moms on the 10th--it's a time to honor some pretty significant people in our lives. Stop by and enjoy!

Stop by, discover a book and enjoy it on your front porch at sundown!

April's Local Author's Showcase was a great success with a whole store full of writers and interested readers engaged in conversation and discovery of their next great read! Thanks to all for participating!

Our May Calendar!

TUESDAY, May 5th: THE SPIRITUALITY GROUP meets at 1:00 p.m. at the store to continue discussing Entering the Castle by Caroline Myss.

THURSDAY, May 7th: THE DROP-IN GUILT-FREE BOOK GROUP meets at the store at 7:15 p.m.! We're discussing The Secret Life of Sunflowers by Marta Molnar. Join us!

FRIDAY, May 1st: The Writer's Group meets at the store at 6:00 pm. It's not too late--write something to share!

SUNDAY, May 10th: It's Mother's Day!!!!

SUNDAY, May 17th at 3:00: LIVING ROOM CONVERSATIONS will explore a current topic of interest--and different views. Topic TBD. We welcome anyone who is interested in civil discussion and learning about our diverse community. Join us at 3:00!

WEDNESDAY, May 20th at High Noon: The BROWN BAG BOOK GROUP discusses The Breakaway by Jennifer Weiner.

SUNDAY, May 31st: THE CLASSICS GROUP meets at 4 p.m. to discuss W. J.D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye.

THURSDAY, May 21st: THE ROMANASY GROUP meets this month at 7 pm to discuss How to Lose a Goblin in Ten Days by Jessie Sylva and Raiders of the Lost Heart by Jo Segura.

AND, WE'LL BE OPEN ON MEMORIAL DAY, May 25th from 10-7!
