February 2023 Newsletter

Updated: Jan 25

WE have one more day to find out what weather news General Beauregard will bring us--six more weeks of winter if he sees his shadow, or, hopefully...not! Either which way, here's the perfect antidote to winter blues: Our annual Dog and Pony Show will arrive on Saturday, February 11th! Join a fantastic group of folks at our Opening Reception from 6-8. And, don't forget Valentine's Day--come on by and pick out a book for your favorite homosapien. Or, consider poetry--there's something totally romantic about reading poetry aloud to each other...

For you--there's nothing like a good book to provide a much-needed respite from the daily list of "must-do's". Even a "15 minute--one chapter" break can make a difference. Whether romance, adventure, si-fi fantasy, or a compelling story--stop by and let us help you find that perfect getaway. As Robert Fulghum says "All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned--the biggest word of all--"look". Our 2023 book groups are thriving with titles that are sure to prompt great discussions and laughter. And, our discussion group on current topics "Living Room Conversations" returns this month as well. Take care, enjoy the season, and don't forget to let us know what you're reading!
