Either which way, here's an antidote to winter blues: Grab your iPhone and take a picture of your pooch--or, go outside and take a snap of your horse and enter it in our upcoming Dog and Pony Show (info below).
Not art-inspired? Join one of our book groups--nothing like a deadline and the prospect of great conversation to get reading! And, don't forget Valentine's Day--come on by and pick out a book for your favorite homosapien. Or, consider poetry--there's something totally romantic about reading poetry aloud to each other...
Our 2023 book groups are thriving with titles that are sure to prompt great discussions and laughter. And, our discussion group on current topics "Living Room Conversations" returns this month as well!

Be a part of our annual photo show celebrating two of the best "huggables" in the world! We partner with CoCo's Cupboard (our local dog rescue group) to bring the annual celebration to dog and horse lovers. Enter 4 photos--if selected they will hang on the walls of the bookstore for a month of enjoyment (and, be viewed during during our scrumptious hot dog feast !). Sale of work will be encouraged--deadline to enter is February 18th at midnight. Go HERE for more info and to upload you favs!

THURSDAY, February 1st: THE DROP-IN GUILT-FREE BOOK GROUP meets at the store at 7:00 p.m.! We're discussing "The Anomaly" by Herve Le Tellier--talk about a book that's going to be fun to talk about! Join us!
SUNDAY, February 4th: THE SILENT BOOK CLUB meets at 3:30-5:00. It's new! We visit for a half hour then we read our individual books quietly and in peace--no interruptions for "to-do's"!
THURSDAY, February 8th at 6 pm: THE SCI-FI BOOK CLUB reads Larry Niven's Ringworld. Join us for an otherworldly discussion!
SATURDAY, February 10th from 1-3: Author Jill Entrekin signs her newest book Bonnie Mac's Cafe that takes place in a small town cafe...in Zebulon.
