Join Us in Celebrating May! And, Moms!

Greetings, all! And here comes May with sunny, warm temps, blooming trees and flowers, and a host of great things happening at A Novel Experience! If you need a respite from the pollen join us at one of our inspiring, fun, social, book and discussion clubs! From the Spirituality Book Club to the Drop-In, Guilt-Free Book Club to Living Room Conversations we convene monthly for great conversation about books and current happenings--you might encounter titles and ideas that inspire, challenge, and, maybe, invoke memories and happiness.

This month we feature Dale Niles' photography and welcome her to a reception in her honor on Saturday, May 10th from 5-7 pm. May is also when we celebrate Memorial Day on the 26th and Moms on the 11th--it's a time to honor some pretty significant people in our lives. Stop by and enjoy!

Our May Calendar!

TUESDAY, May 6th: THE SPIRITUALITY GROUP meets at 1:00 p.m. at the store. This month we're wrapping up a robust discussion on We Make the Road by Walking!

EVERY TUESDAY! The knitters (and those who crochet) gather to knit and purl and chat! And, they are happy to help beginners!

THURSDAY, May 1st: THE DROP-IN GUILT-FREE BOOK GROUP meets at the store at 7:15 p.m.! We're discussing "A Thousand Ships" by Natalie Hayes. Join us!

FRIDAY, May 2nd: The Writer's Group meets at the store at 6:00 pm. It's not too late--write something to share!

SATURDAY, May 10th: We're toasting Dale Niles and her fabulous photo show gracing our walls this month! Stop by and meet her at her Reception from 5-7 p.m. Join us!

SUNDAY, May 11th: It's Mother's Day!!!!

SUNDAY, May 18th at 3:00: LIVING ROOM CONVERSATIONS will explore a current topic of interest--and different views. Topic TBD. We welcome anyone who is interested in civil discussion and learning about our diverse community. Join us at 3:00!

WEDNESDAY, May 21st at High Noon: The BROWN BAG BOOK GROUP discusses Demon Copperfield by Barbara Kingsolver.

MONDAY, May 12th at 7:00: THE ROMANCE PAGES SOCIETY meets at 7 to discuss a great title every month. This month we're reading Under Loch and Key by Lana Ferguson. I

SUNDAY, May 25th: THE CLASSICS GROUP meets at 2 p.m. to discuss W. Somerset Maugham's The Razor's Edge.

SATURDAY, May 17th: CHANGE OF DATE! Novels at Night will meet on the third Saturday this month at 6 pm to discuss A Letter to the Luminous Deep by Sylvie Cathrall.

AND, WE'LL BE OPEN ON MEMORIAL DAY, May 26 from 10-7!
