Updated: Jan 25

“It is what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you will be when you can’t help it.” Oscar Wilde

It's Fall! And, we're a tiny bit late in getting out the newsletter but, here's the most important bulletin: Turn back your clocks on Saturday night--remember: "Spring forward, fall back!" (Come on in the store this month and tell us a story about being late for something on a Sunday when you forgot...:).

Downtown Zebulon hosted the annual Treat or Treat on the Square this past Tuesday when we welcomed all manner of ghosts, goblins, and superheroes. What a great group of kids and parents stopped by! And, many thanks for the Pike County school system's donation of kid's books to go along with the candy!

And, consider ordering your holiday book titles a little earlier than usual--we're hearing that supply lines may still be a little iffy again this year. Please don't forget that indie bookstores offer online ordering from BOOKSHOP--you can order from our very own page and support our store from the comfort of your home. Speaking about the upcoming season, stay tuned for our annual collection of "stocking stuffers"!

We welcome Malgorzata Florkowska this month for her beautiful photo show "Windows Looking In and Out"--stop by and enjoy and join us on Saturday November 25th from 6-8 for her reception!

We wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving--we will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd but we'll open on the Friday of that weekend--stop by with friends and family to catch up! And, as always, let us know what you're reading!
