Happy New Year to all! We enjoyed a wonderful holiday season at A Novel Experience--and we're looking forward to sharing 2023 with great books and your company! Our 2023 book groups are beginning this month with titles that are sure to prompt great discussions and laughter. And, our discussion group on current topics "Living Room Conversations" returns this month as well. We are so pleased to have Bambi Rogers' wonderful watercolors stay on our walls for another month--come on by and enjoy her impressions of wildlife, landscapes, and pooches (who are fabulous coming attractions for February's Dog and Pony Show!). We were so grateful on New Year's Day to enjoy temps in the 60's--and a sunny afternoon!--after that harrowing cold--we hope everyone has recovered and that water and electricity is flowing. It really made that suggestion of "curling up in a blanket with a great book" a timely one. If you need to replenish your book pile stop by--we're putting some great titles on the shelves this month. And, perhaps resolve to join us at one of our monthly book groups--it's a great way to discover new titles and interests (ask Chris about the Louise Penny's series...). Happy New Year, enjoy the season, and don't forget to let us know what you're reading! The Novel Experience Team P.S. Photographer alert! The entry deadline for our annual Dog and Pony Show is January 13th! Our D&PJuror-for-Life, Ray Sullivan returns to pick 2023's show. See below for more info and break out those photos of dogs or horses that you love. Ray will choose his favorite 30 photographs and we'll feature them along with the famous parade of adoptable dogs from Coco's Cupboard at the Reception in February.
