June is for Dads--and, Summer! We're open 10 am - 7 pm Monday through Saturday! “Books can be dangerous. The best ones should be labeled ‘This could change your life’.” Helen Exley

We're embracing the warm weather and the upcoming celebration of summer--be on the lookout for our traditional wading pool of great summer reads for beach vacations (used books are the best antidotes to worrying about spilling drinks on pristine new ones...). Take the opportunity of late sunsets to read on the porch. Make a promise to yourself to substitute, for just an hour, an inspiring book instead of catching up on Facebook. Or, challenge yourself to figure out how to overcome adversity by reading a book by someone who did. This month we're picking out books that might be perfect for Father's Day--that's Sunday, June 18th! To give your dad a book chosen especially for him says that you recognize how special he is. And join us in welcoming photographer Joe Hoyle's show. Stay tuned for the reception date! Flag Show Alert! If you have a photograph--matted or framed--that includes an American flag bring it by the store before the first of July--we'd love to include it in our traditional Flag Show that month! Stop by, join one of our book groups, share your thoughts about contemporary topics at Living Room Conversations...and, tell us what you're reading! The Novel Experience Team
